Great place to stay second time staying here night before cruise. Very clean rooms and bathroom too also we love the walking distance to downtown shop, bars, and restaurants don’t have to deal with parking car anywhere downtown just leave in hotel parking lot and don’t have to drink and drive 😉

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Galveston Beach by IHG
Unfortunately we booked during Mustang weekend which was bad enough, got absolutely no sleep. Aside from that, the pullout was uncomfortable, the breakfast lack luster, screen for the wall cooling unit was busted and pillows were sheets of paper. Staff was unprofessional and unfriendly. Clarion Pointe Galveston - Beachfront
Despite the bad reviews I read before booking, I wanted to give this hotel a chance. However, I think the hotel really needs a renovation. The location is good in front of the beach, and the breakfast is not the best, but it's not too bad. Honestly, I wouldn't stay here again.

Room was decent. Floors were a little dirty but bed was comfortable It could use a little TLC but for being a beach hotel it was okay for the price. Great views
