The Dean Galway

4.0 star property

"Very nice and beautiful room, but small. Very nice staff. Central location and possibility to park the car quite nearby. But the doublebed was too small, maybe fit if you are a newlywed coupe. But not for a little bit older couple."

"Good front desk and restaurant service. Clean. Free parking. Pool closes at 8:45 sharp, we were unable to use after dinner. Not as quiet as other hotel we stayed at. The room shared a door on each side (which is locked) but you can hear next door conversation. "

The Ardilaun Hotel

4.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (553)
"The hotel was great by itself. Room was great and the overall space was also great. Easy and plenty of parking. It is a decent distance outside of the town centre so you need to taxi or drive to avoid the 30 min walk. I would say we had a different experience with the bar restaurant than perhaps others. While the service was good, the food was not. I’d place it last amongst 10 days of meals we had in Ireland. The fish and chips one had was not crispy rather a bit soggy. So consider options...

7 Cross Street

4.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very good, (280)
"The location is ideal - just walk out the front door and you’re in the heart of the Latin quarter with quick access to restaurants and bars. Great vibe around that area. . The rooms are very small (as noted). Ok if you’re traveling with a small carry-on case or small backpack. Little or no space in the room to store your luggage. Nice continental breakfast. Bed was not that comfortable. A little pricey for what you get. "

Travelodge Galway

3.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (626)
"There are plenty of places to eat within 10-20 mins of walk. Parking is available in their lots. Breakfast(pay) is kind of limited but freshly made everyday. Night meal options are somewhat limited. There are more positives about this property than any minor shortcomings. I would stay here again."

"The room was small but ok. The room was supposed to have a fridge but it didn't. Instead, there was a shared kitchenette of which fridge was available. The bathroom was also small. Breakfast and wifi were good."
