"We were very happy with our stay at the Galmont. The front desk personnel are wonderful—smart, helpful, and friendly. Our room was great—spacious & modern. The WiFi was strong. There were plenty of plugs for charging devices. There was an in room safe. The only thing our room lacked was drawers (Our friends’ room did have drawers.) The breakfast was excellent. The hotel is well located, near downtown without being on a loud street. We would definitely recommend the Galmont and would stay there on any future visits. "

"❤️Friendly check-in, the size of the rooms was incredible, lots of space to stretch out, comfortable beds and bedding, luxurious bathroom, view of highway which we loved, delicious breakfast. 💔The hotel was a maze, signs that don’t lead anywhere, trouble finding our room despite being given directions and we speak English, (Italian tourists we saw there are probably still looking for their rooms), difficulty finding public washrooms due to awkward signage, location-not close to anything walkable, you definitely need a car and Galway is not public parking friendly, they tell you that you don’t need reservations at the Bistro, but you do, because you’re out of luck finding another restaurant close by. Looked forward to using the pool but it closed to early for our family to enjoy after check-in."

"Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and very tasty. Hotel room was clean, good amount of space and the bathroom was of a good size for a family. The Swimming Pool being attached to it is a godsend and it was great to get in there. It's busier in the evening than the morning, but theres a lifeguard and things for the kids to use in there as well. There's also a kids playroom that is manned in the evening with all sorts of things for all ages. The bar, restaurant and coffee rooms looked clean with plenty of offering but we didn't frequent them in the evening. Friendly, helpful staff all over the hotel. Highly recommended for a stay in Galway, and if we return in the future, will definitely stay here again. 15 minutes to the racecourse, even with festival traffic was a huge bonus "
