"This our second time to stay at the Iris Garden Inn in Garden City/Savannah. Our daughter is a student at SCAD and in the past we always stayed at short term rentals in the north historic district. Last year we traveled with our dog to pick up our daughter for summer break and stayed at the Iris Garden Inn because they allow pets. We were pleasantly surprised at the newness and cleanliness of the inn and our room as well as the friendly and very helpful staff. Plus it had a large parking lot and grassy areas for walking our dog. This year no dog but booked again because we liked the convenience. It is close to the historic district (5 to 10 minute drive) and you don’t have the headache of hunting 15 minutes for an overnight pay to park space. "
