"the property grounds is beautiful, peaceful and well kempt. The rooms are nice as well, However, they are a little dated, especially in the bathrooms. Seems like a renovation is over-due and would greatly complement the rest of the property. I think it should be noted for any one who may have a tough time lifting bags or walking upstairs that the facilities does not appear to have elevators. at-least the didnt in the building i was in that looks directly over the pond."

"I stay here on every trip to Carmel/Monterey for three reasons: 1) Parking 2) Close to downtown 3) Reasonable rates The only negatives on this trip was no "Do not Disturb" placard available to use, and heavy footsteps above (maybe lack of sound insulation?)."

"A stunning place—very dog-friendly, impeccably clean, and featuring a beautiful garden. We stayed in a cottage with a small kitchen that was excellently equipped. Walking the dog was an absolute pleasure: it was quiet, clean, and offered plenty of grass and space."
