Garry Point Park is one of my favourite places to go in the Greater Vancouver Area, it's got great ocean views and you tend to see a lot of people there flying kites or (as in this case) parachutes. It's located in Steveston which is an awesome little touristy fishing community.

Unfortunately the 'Wind Waves' sculpture was temporary for Vancouver biennial celebrations a couple years back and is no longer there.

"Room was spotless and modern. All the comforts of home. Washer dryer nespresso machine dishwasher fridge and stove. Great area with boardwalk and great restaurants close by. Only thing to check in winter is make sure heat is unlocked. We were not aware til 1:00 am that the heat thermostat had been locked and we had to call for assistance. It was only hiccup. Would definitely stay again and recommend for families or couples. A crib was also provided with no problem. Check in and out was pretty convenient with no problems. Bed was comfortable and housecoats and umbrellas were provided also. Thank you sooo much for a great stay!!"
