"Great location 5 minutes walk to train station. The train takes you to the city. Walking distance to restaurants and cafe and shopping centre. Very quiet at night. Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff."

"This was my second stay at the Royal hotel, the rooms are very clean and tidy, shared bathroom is spotless, there is a kitchen for all the people staying, always plenty of coffee, tea and milk supplied and plenty of plates cups and cutlery complete with a microwave oven. Down stairs is complete with great food, plenty of areas to sit down relax while you enjoy a brew or two as I did. "As an older woman travelling alone it was wonderful to feel so safe from the secure brightly lit car park, to the fact it was the safest and most comfortable I have felt while travelling alone. Staff were friendly and so helpful. Bathroom was spotless. Will definately be my go to on return trips."
