This is actually more of an air bnb style accommodation so you need to collect a key from a mailbox, the host is very attentive and sent through very clear instructions on how to access. Had an issue with the air conditioning but was rectified very quickly with no waiting issues at all. Would recommend to stay here again

Wonderful stay! Very safe

Pros Hosts were very efficient and welcoming!! Very attentive over WhatsApp Overall adored my stay here, in a great location and Grab service available everywhere Clean room and bathroom Felt very safe as a young, female, solo traveller Cons WiFi a little slow but it was fine as I had an eSIM for data The overall building doesn’t have aircon and sometimes with slow lifts, can get a little hot No fridge

Comfortable Stay with minor inconveniences

Spacious, sufficient beds for family of 5, good view - can see sunrise, good location, furniture well maintained, apartment is clean. Bed quite hard to sleep on, lift takes very long especially during peak hours, have to spiral up the carpark (giddy), door only has number lock, no internal door latch for added security.

Generally clean and well equipped, but can provide more supplies like tissue paper etc. also can mention initially we faced some issues with the appliances, which kept turning off, but it was resolved when we called for assistance and switch the cards

Stayed for 4 nights with my family. The room was extremely dusty when we checked in as I was sneezing non stop until we opened the windows and turned on the fan. The windows were not able to stay opened hence we use our stuff to keep the windows opened. One of the beds was extremely soft making the sleep difficult and unpleasant. The pillows were too soft that we had to fold the pillow into half to sleep. The bathroom ceiling was leaking probably due to a leaking pipes from above. What is good is the staff was responsive and the information on the checking in and out were very made readily.

Security grill before wooden door will be great as someone rattled our door handle one afternoon. I could not see as there was no peep hole in the door. There was a washing machine but no clothes drying rack to hang after wash clothes I was able to go up and down lift without the need to swipe card after my first day. This is a call for concern especially after someone rattled my apartment door.

The bed felt like a block of wood which Tropicana subsequently advised was coconut fibre and 'good for our spine'. The fact that the bed was coconut fibre and extremely hard was not disclosed on the ad for the place or in subsequent messages from Tropicana as they claimed that there is no space on the platform to note this. They then refused to cancel and refund the booking or arrange any exchange unless we first made and paid for another booking with them. .

We initislly booked a 2 bedded apartment but upon check in found that the apartment had not been cleaned after the last guest had checked out. The bed was not made, floor not cleaned despite us checking in at 5 pm. Worst still in the evening at around 9 pm we saw a rat in the room and hall which was unacceptable. I sincerely hope expedia can look into this. We complained and fortunately was changed to another 3 bedded apartment which was basic but comfortable. At least it is clean this time. The person in charge said he will refund the first night to us but we had yet to hear from him after that. This is the first time i had stayed in a hotel or apartment that had a rat in it. Mind you I am a frequent flyer.

The location is a major plus for this location. Facility is decent. Views at higher floors are nice. Property management staffs are friendly and responsive. They tried their best to make sure my stay is great. Tried to check for me higher floors, but wasn't possible to do so as I requested for 3 person. There is an initial deposit that I had to do it via remittances from my bank. However, they also refunded back promptly within the same day, after I have checked out . Toilets are clean. Beds are decent. The drawbacks are probably that it was more like an Airbnb - explaining the property management. Also, within the room, the amenities are very basic (you have a small fridge, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, shampoo, and dishwashing liquid). So one cannot expect daily housekeeping. Also, as it is a common property shared by other residents, it can be quite noisy at night (as guests of other rooms can change frequently ). The initial steps to get to your property can be a little confusing. It would also be great to have better pillows (or more pillows) Overall decent stay.

Het appartement was schoon en zag er van binnen gezellig uit! De bedden lagen heerlijk. Er was een wasmachine aanwezig en je had gepurifieerd water. Het zwembad was fijn. In 1 van de twee badkamers was de douche niet in optimale staat, anders hadden ze 5 sterren gekregen. Echt een aanrader.
