"This was by far the worst stay I’ve ever had! The moment I entered, a strong musty/moldy smell hit me—it was so bad that my family couldn’t even breathe properly. The entire place felt damp, and I spotted visible mold stains on the ceiling. I had to leave immediatel and book another place because staying here was simply not an option. Do yourself a favor and avoid this listing—it’s not worth the risk to your health! "

"The property managers are not good. They are not cleaning property and not changing bed sheets and not providing any clean service during our stay. They are just looking for money without providing service. Further, they want to give a bad condition property if you don’t ask."

If there is any room for improvement i would suggest a roof garden or pool along with information about the area would have been a great addition to the experience."

"I view this hotel as a Beautiful Boutique Hotel that is in a wonderful location. I have stayed here before and I will stay here again!!! They are in the process of making some renovations, that are only going to enhance my future visits!!!! I checked in late, which was handled well. I like everything about this hotel, but the thing I like the most is the STAFF - everyone always willing to help and they do it with a SMILE!!!!! I will be returning to this hotel in a couple weeks before I return to America. This is a hidden GEM!!!!!"

But all in the city so everything was a bit small (I'm 6"4 and was with my family...maybe we were too big : )... " My family's 3 night stay at Royal Palace hotel was just about perfect. We had two rooms -- one for my wife and me and the other for our two adult daughters. The hotel provided a complimentary upgrade for our girls so they could be on the same floor as us --- very nice! Our Royal suite was extremely spacious, quiet and comfortable. Hotel staff was welcoming and friendly, included breakfast was excellent. Perfect location, too, just a couple blocks from Hoan Kiem Lake, the water puppet theater, and the heart of the Old Quarter. Highly recommend! "
