Gibson's Visit

We had a wonderful time, stayed in the penthouse, awesome facilitates and view of the ocean. Short drive to Gibsons for restaurants and bars.

Amazing stay

Can’t say enough good things about our stay here. Stayed in the garden suite that felt like our own house. The beach access across the road for our walk with our dog was perfect. Staff were super nice, especially Lee that served us for dinner and went above and beyond to help us with drinks for our room. Food was really good also. Look forward to staying here again.

Excellent restaurant (Chasters) so make a table reservation. Too bad it’s only open Thursday through Sunday! Very comfortable accommodation in the Garden Suite. Low traffic,quiet road runs past the property.

The Bonniebrook Lodge was a great location to explore the Sunshine Coast. Last minute our daughter came with us so we had 3 in the room. It was a bit cramped with pull out sofa. The bathroom is a bit dated. Good housekeeping everyday. The restaurant was excellent at the property.

Beautiful historic home containing several suites, each beautifully decorated. Completely clean throughout. Helpful staff. Excellent location in Gibsons, BC Sunshine Coast on waterfront - 8 minutes drive to wonderful Gibsons Landing with shops and restaurants. Excellent restaurant.

What to say about this B&B....perfect, beautiful room with gorgeous view. The room was very clean well decorated and cozy but plenty of room. It is pretty much sound proof, didn't hear next door or the room above. The staff were friendly and helpful. And lets not forget about Chasters the food was so delicious packed with flavor and very friendly made you feel like you were at a family dinner almost. Attentive to your needs, I already said it, but the food was wow so good. We will definitely be going back again. We stayed in the East Ocean View room. Jame & Airin

The room on the second floor was nice…very lovely king bed. When we booked we didn’t realize we were right on the road between us and the water. Another important consideration is that there are 2 flights of stairs to climb to get to your room with no attendants to help with luggage. The stairs are narrow and could be a hindrance. So be prepared.

Great food, rooms/inn needs urgent repairs

We stayed 1 night in the penthouse suite. Generally an overall good experience, however there were some points that didn't work for us given the $420 price tag on this stay. The bed was far too small for 2 people and the pillows were of poor quality. The IP phone in the room did not to dial internally (extensions) and would keep restarting. The room also was in obvious need of repair as there were areas that had drywall damage to the walls that had obviously been there for awhile. Another issue that we noticed was the rotten decking on the upper floor. Yes, it is in urgent need of replacing. The resteraunt (chasters) however was VERY good and made up for some of the issues in our room. *Note to owners. if you are going to charge top dollar for rooms/accomodation, you'd better put the maintenance into things otherwise risk people injuring themselves on your property. I also suggest a key box for those people doing an early checkout.
