It was perfect for us, the owner Dino was a super host and upgraded us to a better room with a terrace, had fresh new baked croissants every morning and also made us cappuchini. We also got a bucket with ice when we brought home some cava. The rooms had a very good standard and was cleaned every day! "The location is very close to the Sassi, which was my main objective. The parking garage was also very close and convenient. Our room was fine, small shower but to be expected in Italy! All good. Now, let me tell you about the sweet host, so helpful! He set up breakfast for us, baked fresh croissants with jams and nutella, made wonderful coffee and offered yogurt, juice, Matera bread ( the best!) we were a group of 6 filling all of his rooms for the night. Perfect stay for us!"

"We stayed at the Maseria Santa Lucia for several days. Our room was entirely built with tuff stone and very stylishly furnished. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The reception gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was very plentiful, coffee variations were served according to our wishes, and the selection of cakes was fantastic. The Maseria has a pool and a spa. Unfortunately, the spa can only be used privately for 1.5 hours for a fee of €100."
