"The facilities were old, but since they were for our family's exclusive use, we had no inconveniences. However, the shared kitchen hours (7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.) were limited, and could be extended."

"Friendly and efficient staff. Very welcoming. Lovely quiet room with comfortable bed. Good shower. Parking outside front door. My third stay this summer while I walk the Affric munros. Quaint little village with nearby lower walks too."
"The Highland Club is in a old abbey. I has been renovated into a modern and very comfortable place of lodging. The rooms are modern, but the facility creates a feel of being in an ancient cathedral. It was very nice. The staff was extremely nice and helpful."
"The food is fantastic and the bar is well stocked. Be sure to make a dinner reservation if arriving after 4 or they may be booked!! Many folks eat there who are not staying at hotel."
"This is a wonderful place to stay. It feels like the Scottish hunting lodge it was, solid and comfortable and close to the forest. The view over Loch Ness is perfect. The staff take very good care of you. The food is excellent. The location is convenient to all the Highlands. The bed is comfortable. There is a fine lounge downstairs and chairs on the lawn overlooking the loch. My only tiny complaint was that the toiletries and in room coffee came in tiny plastic packaging which caused a lot of difficult recycling.

"We loved our stay at the Loch Ness Lodge! The whole experience was lifted to the next level by the excellent 5 star service we received from start to finish. The gentleman running the hotel was wonderful at explaining sights in the area, booking a restaurant, and giving us some great explanations about local whiskeys and how to appreciate whiskey for first-timers. The hotel felt very premium yet still cosy and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay here again."
