"We had a nice one-night stay here and the family room we had was very well appointed and clean with quality fittings. The decor was good but could have been a bit more warm and inviting. The staff were lovely and very helpful and the breakfast was great - the food was well presented and fresh. There wasn't a bar as such but the reception staff were available to provide alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in the small lounge area. Again, I think the public areas could have had better lighting and more cosy decor to provide a more welcoming ambience but overall a great place to stay in the lovely town of Pitlochry."

"We stayed here for a night after finishing the West Highland Way and the location was amazing. Close to the pedestrian zone and even better, close to the train station for our departure. Excellent breakfast included and friendly and helpful staff."
Columba Hotel Inverness by Compass Hospitality

"Unfortunately it was massively over priced but this was due to the Loch Ness marathon weekend. We stayed 2 nights and were very disappointed that we didn't get breakfast on the first morning due to having to leave early for the marathon. I think they could have offered to open half hour earlier personally considering that there were a lot of runners staying at the hotel! The breakfast the next day was nice enough though so no complaints there. They had no chef for evening meals which we weren't told about before coming up either so later Saturday night we had to go out and look for food which was tricky given it was a really busy weekend for the city! When we booked there was nowhere to click double "bed" so unfortunately we had 2 single beds. When I asked about it after checking my invoice the lady behind the desk said that I had to stipulate when booking even though I clicked double room!! The lady on reception on the day we checked out however was very lovely. She booked us a taxi and she was very helpful."

"Overall good, staff were lovely rooms comfortable and fairly clean, common areas v tired. Breakfast only ok and no Haggis!!!"

"Nice hotel, room very spacious and had tea/coffee facilities, unlimited hot water, bed vet6 comfortable, hotel quiet so great nights sleep. We didn’t eat in the hotel as we prefer to eat out so can’t comment on food etc. spa/swimming had to be booked prior to being used and we didn’t use it as much as we might have had it been open to use swimming without booking. There was o WiFi in the rooms and it was a bit hit and miss in shared areas so that was disappointing. One complaint if you could call it that was lack of toilet tissue we were only given one roll and no spare left, a minor issue but a basic necessity. The charge for using hotel car park was a disappointment but overall we enjoyed our stay and will return."

"We were there for 2 days and we thought it was good the building was a bit tiered the room was nice and tidy the view of the bay was great the staff were very nice and helpful and nothing seemed to be too much bother"
