Every interaction was easy and kind, the house was incredibly well kept, and the grounds were gorgeous. It's located a bit out of the way which is perfect for minimizing crowds and noise! Our room was perfectly sized and the bed/bedding comfortable. All in all, a 10/10. Highly recommend to anyone in any stage of life."

"The owners, Paul and Kate go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I rarely write reviews, but looked forward to sharing about The Ivy House. The room we stayed in was well stocked with fresh water, tea, and hot chocolate. The bed was very comfortable and I have a fussy back. The shower was modern. You can order your breakfast the night before and eat it in an extraordinarily well decorated dining room. A most pleasant stay."
"What a beautiful charming B&B. Located in the Idyllic village of Near Sawrey, I chose this place for it's charm, the price and location. Ann and Stephen, the host's couldn't be more helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. Beds are comfortable, lovely rooms. Tea and coffee available. Towels, complimentary washing items from local company. I loved it and throughly recommend it. "
"This is a lovely hotel in a great location. My room was gorgeous and had the best nights sleep I’ve had in years, as the room is sound proofed. The staff are really friendly and helpful.
Just a few things to be aware of. This hotel is quite expensive to book, and it’s a little cheeky they charge an Additional cost for parking, £25 for the night. It does not have aircon so is quite warm. The food and drink are overpriced. (Recommend going elsewhere) However, it is a lovely hotel and you can’t beat the location "
