"Great place to stay however the construction in and surrounding the hotel ruined the relaxing holiday vibe. It even occurred on the Saturday at 6.30am. I did not get notification that there was construction work happening by the hotel or Hotels.com and wasted a free night, and extra money on this stay unfortunately."

"The lifts from the car park take too much time and limited access for rooms having to swap to different lifts to get to your room. The rooms are ok, closer to 3 star. Unfortunately our walk in robe had a vomit smell that you could smell in the bedroom.. so that wasn’t a great thing..it’s definitely a very good location but that’s about it."
"The Star was convenient to the conference centre which was our reason for booking but otherwise you would only go there if you were going to the casino.
The room was small and a bit run down. There were some holes in the ceiling that we had to ask to get covered.
There would be better places to stay if you are holding in Broadbeach."
