"We stayed there for 4 days and the staff didn’t come once to tidy up the room even after asking. We ran out of body soap in the bathroom. There was a cockroach in our room and the staff didn’t say much about it when we showed them photos. When we asked for a late checkout the cleaning people finally came to our room and kept trying to get in every 5 minutes when the late checkout we had asked for was only 30 minutes later than the actual checkout. Staying here wasn’t great but we had a room to stay in and a place to store our stuff. I wouldn’t stay here again necessarily."

"Laquada manager extremely helpful. TV reception was poor. Unable to see first Knick game. Went to lobby to see 2nd game - loud music, people talking. Closed captioned and no sound. Not enjoyable experience. Breakfast boring sausage and eggs lukewarm. Breakfast staff always pleasant. WI-FI weak unable to get working entire time. First night (6/3) desk clerk (Sheree?) told me to come downstairs after midnight so she could see screen. Ridiculous request. Next morning (6/3) desk clerk unable to get Wi-Fi on my IPAD. Need better system."

"The room was spacious, the bed and pillows were comfortable. I had a glitch with the bathroom sink the water stopped flowing, however once I mentioned it to the staff the maintenance man fixed it promptly. Breakfast was your average free breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage links, red potatoes, grits, cereals, breads, pastries, juice, coffee, milk. Waffles, fruit. The outdoor pool was refreshing. There are several restaurants around the area."

"I knew the area of which the hotel was in so some of their rules they had I can understand. The staff was friendly and helpful especially when there was no remote in the room for the TV. They was able to find one and bring to my room. The room was not like it showed in the pictures. I requested a non-smoking room with a refrigerator. There was no refrigerator and an ash tray in the room. Nightstand and TV stand didn’t look good, the shower was almost big enough for an average adult to fit in. Had to clean up water on the floor around the shower when through. The door to the room was way off and could see light between the door and frame all the way around it. It also let bugs in. The A/C system was on its last leg it sounded like, but it did cool the room well. Would I recommend this place? No, not even to my worse enemy."

"We stayed here for 4 nights. We were here for a wedding. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very spacious and clean, I was very impressed by the staff. We had an issue with a family member that over indulged at the pre wedding celebration and the manager and staff treated our family member with much kindness and respect. I feel they were very empathetic and handled the situation in a very kind manner which deescalated the situation. Thank you for your empathy and understanding."
