"Excellent location across from the waterfront. Steps up to the entrance but a small, narrow ramp to the side of the hotel for wheelchairs. Lobby extremely attractive and clean. Staff welcoming and check-in stressfree. We booked an accessible room - the bathroom was spacious with expected amenities. The room was clean and the bed comfortable although not quite big enough to easily move around in a wheelchair. We did not book breakfast (at €20/person we thought it a little on the high price side). We would stay here again if in the area and recommend the hotel as excellent value for money especially in the location."

"The cleaning staff and the breakfast lady do an amazing job! However, it seems nothing is fixed when broken. Even the toiletroll holder was busted, the tiles in the bathroom damaged and the grouting moldy. But is was very cheap and the bed was fine. And, as mentioned, it was surprisingly clean and the breakfast was brilliant for the price. Will visit again if the opportunity arises."

Personalet var venlige og hjælpsomme, især rengørings-pigen, vi havde nemlig problemer med at få tilsendt en kode til at komme ind, hun var bare så sød. Morgenmaden skulle vi lige vente på, men det var fint, det smagte godt, der var lidt, men det var godt. Jeg er sikker på at vi vender tilbage på et tidspunkt."

Plus, perhaps expected too much from a 300+ years old tavern... The breakfast was rather basic, thought with fresh good bread."

The room itself was a bit on the small side, and the walls between rooms are quite thin, so you can hear your neighbors. Breakfast was okay but fairly basic, nothing particularly memorable. Overall, I found the hotel somewhat overpriced, but it seems to be one of the better options available when staying in Aabenraa."
