"Very nice small hotel located in the center of Paris, walking distance to the louvre, opera house, Lafayette and many good restaurants. The staffs are quite friendly, the breakfast is great but not excellent compared to the other hotel with same stars I stayed last year. There are light sensors in my room which didn’t work well. I couldn’t sleep at all during the first night because of the light on. The staff kindly fixed it on the next day by covering the sensors with a piece of paper, quite impressive."

"Tranquille, sécuritaire, propre et bien situé. Nous avons bien apprécié notre séjour. Seul le déjeuner que nous avons essayé lors de notre départ a été décevant. Aucun réchaud sous les plats donc on mange les œufs brouillés et autres aliments froids. Par contre, le café était bon et chaud et le personnel accueillant."

"We had a great stay at L’Empire Paris. The location is fantastic with close proximity to the Louvre, Notre Dame, and great Metro access. Our rooms were large and well-maintained. But the real strength of L’Empire is the staff. To a person, they were so helpful and kind in helping us with reservations and navigating the city."

"The apartment is sparking clean and the process to store your bags and access the home works well. The hotel has a tiny elevator, fits one person and one suitcase at a time and is slow. The stairs are a beautiful spiral staircase. The suites themselves are a bit odd in design. One bathroom with a shower is by the outside door/first bedroom. The other has the toilet in the hall and the sink and shower is in the bedroom. The kitchen is in a narrow hallway but was well appointed. We used the fridge, dishwasher and washer/dryer during our stay. The only issues are some maintenance - the shower in the second bedroom doesn’t drain and if you take more than a 3 Min shower it floods the shower, bathroom as no basin for the shower. The drain gurgles all the time. The pocket door sticks and we all took turns being stuck In the shower room. The location is great with the train station right by and lots of places to eat on the street. Good to note the apartment isn’t sound proof. The restaurant/bars downstairs are open until after 1 am every night. If you like a quiet place for resting you will find it loud. For the costs the apartment should have everything in working order."

"We spent 8 days in Paris and stayed at the Novotel Hotel which was under construction and had I known that I wouldn’t book there for sure . The hotel appeared older and the carpets in our room was well worn and appeared it needed a good cleaning or replacement. Poor water pressure in the shower and air conditioning unit poorly maintained and was not cooling the room properly. The outside weather was in the 34 c range every day of our last 4 days. The morning breakfast served was the most chaotic experience I ever had . The coffee machine not maintained consistently running out of coffee or getting jammed or no water. The staff was poorly trained to handle a large crowd."
