It’s a very clean and modern hotel. It’s kind of weird how dark it is and I was told it was designed that way. I like dark restaurants and hotels that aren’t super bright but this is kind of spooky dark. Restaurant food was very mediocre and the menu was extremely limited. I assume it’s that way due to it being the off season. Staff was nice but not very helpful or forthcoming about the room, eating options, etc. you may want to try it during the “ seaso@ as the entire town was deserted!

Excellent hotel, spacious, very clean rooms, amazing bathrooms, the view is beautiful looking over the beach and the marina. Great breakfast with plenty to choose from. The staff is very attentive and efficient, always willing to go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Thank you Troia Design Hotel, will definitely visit again.

Top stay in beautiful location
We had a fab stay in an apartment in the hotel. Loved the pool and service and had a wonderful time. The area is so stunning - views to the ocean and bay and the highlight was a boat trip to see the dolphins in the bay.

Not so great…but friendly staff, good food!
Friendly and helpful staff but sometimes the information received was not correct. Breakfast was out of this world! Some areas of the facility were smelly and you could see and feel the outdated technology and furniture.

Very good stay!
All the staff was very friendly and professional. The room was clean, spacious and with an amazing view to the swimming pool/beach and mountain. The only thing I would suggest is the breakfast could be better. Overall I highly recommend the hotel.

Excellent spa , breakfast was ok , dinner wasn’t great . Tv didn’t work in the apartment living room ,blackout curtain was hanging off one end , no bottle opener for mini bar or spoons for the coffee machine - reported it and was assured things would be rectified but when we left two days later apart from tv which worked intermittently things still hadn’t been done . They were all minor problems and had a pleasant stay . November not the time to visit really but imagine it’s a lovely beach holiday resort .

Great value for money
Location of the hotel was great (my meeting was 2 minutes walk away). The hotel is located on a busy road which is loud until 11pm and gets loud again from 5am. Check in is self service and quick, funky key cards that don’t get blanked when next to your phone. My hotel room was modern with a lovely shower and beautifully smelling products such as shower gel (I wish I had space in my suitcase to purchase). The bed was hard but not a disaster, the room was like a sauna though. The hotel have the air con turned off from October leaving you have the window open which then makes the room super loud. I ended up taking the duvet out of the cover and sleep with just the sheet. What I did notice then was the duvet was covered in stains, hotel should purchase duvet protection covers. Overall great value for money and I can’t wait for Ruby hotels to come in London!

The staff were superb, and it was very close to great beach, and they give you a towel to use at the beach!

Great trip, but hotel does not provide an iron. They recommend you use the laundry service, but that’s a 12hr turnaround service - not very convenient.

I absolutely loved this hotel! Staff was ever helpful, the check-in was amazing with full explanations without taking up too much time. Breakfast was divine every day with a vast selection of food, coffees, etc. The view was simply breathtaking! Will definitely return.
