Despite >85% empty (my assumption) we got an apartment where we had to go up some stairs to reach it. No elevator and not possible to change. The reception is not very quick or helpful. "Generally a good place. My room was nice and the view was good. It is a modern euro hotel. The area is a small resort town and there is not much amenity there. Casino is attached but I did not visit. Staff was helpful and nice. I’d stay again if I’m the area."

"This is a wonderful property in a perfect Lisbon location. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional with us and that makes the entire stay worth it. In particular, Antonio and Sara went above and beyond -- and thanks to their service, we plan to return this year again, and going forward after that. The only real room for for improvement is in the monitoring of the email address and responding to guest emails requesting things. We sent 2-4 emails like that, and none of them were ever returned. :-o"

"We will come back to The Editory Riverside hotel in a heartbeat! The location could not be better if you like to walk and explore on your own. The star was so kind and polite, our room was stunning and, though we had a river and street view, the room was so well insulated that it made our sleep so quiet and restorative. AND, it is right at the train station! Were we were able to get a train to our next city destination! Lots of restaurants around. Great, great hotel!!"

"We found Spatia Comporta extremely peaceful, relaxing, & absolutely beautiful. The young staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful especially on the weekend. I was debating between 2 hotels, and felt the images of Spatia Comporta did not quite do justice - in capturing the beautifully landscaped tranquil environment, & level of serenity in all the details - this coming from NYC. The main pool area for adults only was so peaceful I didn’t want to leave. The only recommendation we would suggest is in the bedding. We had come from the Intercontinental & was a little surprised about the harder bed & pillows. Regardless, something about the air & being there allowed for solid sleep & I awoke feeling refreshed, albeit a little sore. I did a morning yoga on our private deck & simply sat in the quiet for a few minutes to truly exhale. I loved it & hope to return."
