Hotels in Gulf Place

"Ocean view but the first room we were in was dirty and hair in the tub, tried to call front desk but phone wasn't working, no tv remote, no luggage rack, the door to balcony wouldn't latch due to painters tape. Elevator smelled like an outhouse and had plywood walls. The next room was missing the soap dispenser and there was hair on the hand towels. The floor was sticky and when my husband moved behind curtain just a bit, he was covered in white dust we assumed was sheetrock dust. Our sheets weren't even on correctly. The top part was sideways. The furniture is awful looking and so old. Sadly it was a very disappointing experience and we left early the next morning. "

"This place is ok. Spacious for families, but not as clean as I would like. The linen on the beds has lots of lint balls. The kids comforters had bleach stains. The bathroom had black mold and a broken shower. The staff was rude when we requested a room change. "

"The woman who checked us in was very accommodating and kind. This lobby is just beautiful and the location is fantastic! The pool and hot tub were wonderful for our family to enjoy. Wish there some kind of complementary breakfast, but I know that’s a Marriott corporate decision. The rooms were clean and mattresses were very comfortable. "
