"I loved this hotel. It was so relaxing. The food was traditional Japanese and some was really good and other stuff was not my favorite. I opted for the outdoor bathroom and private osen and strongly recommend that! Especially if you have tattoos as they are not allowed in the public osen. The Hakone area wasn’t my favorite but that’s not the hotels fault."

"We stayed at the hotel for one night. The property has a beautiful garden and offers enjoyable evening activities, including a traditional drum performance. We enjoyed the activities and entertainment during our stay. The dinner presentation was elegant and beautifully executed, making the dining experience very enjoyable. However, While the food was delicious, the portion sizes felt a little light for our appetite. Since we booked relatively late, the standard rooms may have already been sold out, and the only room available included access to the wine lounge. The wine lounge access was bundled into the room rate and could not be excluded. As we are not wine drinkers, we did not take advantage of the wine selection, although we did have some light snacks there after dinner. We traveled to the hotel by bus and then walked the remaining distance. According to Google Maps, it was only about a 15-minute walk, but parts of the route lacked sidewalks, making the walk less comfortable and somewhat inconvenient. We were unsure of our arrival time, so we did not reserve the hotel’s shuttle service in advance. Overall, we found the location a bit inconvenient without a car and ended up taking a taxi when we left. Despite these minor inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hotel’s beautiful setting, unique activities, and quality dining experience."

"Such an amazing place.staffs are very helpful and considerate. There’s a ping pong room, a hot spring, and it provides a great view of Mt. Fuji.my kids really enjoyed the stay :)"

"There were great instructions in English for the bath. There is a very handy shuttle bus to Gora that is a helpful additional alternative to bus. This place is only about two years old so everything is very clean and fresh."

"A fantastic selection of food and drink at breakfast and lunch. Scenery is breath taking and worth the hour bus ride. As we booked last minute free shuttle bus was unavailable. 2mins walk to cable car and pirate ship. Trail walk around the lake. Our one night stay was not long enough. Bedrooms not huge but liked the proper shower"
