The convenience of hotel being connected to Scotia Square and the other facilities like the casino was very nice. My low rating comes from many things. Day 1 we arrived to the hotel at ~4pm when our check in was 3pm. We were late due to our flight being delayed. When we arrived, we were told that our room was not ready… To “accommodate” for us, they offered to downgrade our room to a room with an interlocking door the room next to us along with it being smaller. We said that we would wait for our room to be cleaned as we did not want this room. After waiting our room was finally ready. On our first day we went out so we did not get to fully settle into our room and inspect it properly. On our second day, we noticed many stains on the bed along with blood splattered blankets AND a g string underwear behind the chair in the room. Upon calling downstairs and complaining the receptionist stated to me over the phone to “just give it to the cleaners when they come in tomorrow.”. I had to fight with them over the phone and demand them to do something in order to get the situation sorted… They finally agreed to give us a room change. Upon arriving in our new room, this room was the room with the interlocking door connecting to the room next door, had STAINED bedding, smaller than our last room, had musky smell to the washroom, and things like wifi connectivity, water pressure, etc. were worse compared to our last room. We were only offered free parking for the last 3 days of our stay
