Charming low-priced central address
The Commodore is centrally located and within walking distance to the port, the theatres and 1.5 miles from the warehouse district. Great lobby, spacious rooms, colonial style, and fenced-in free parking next door. Low-priced compared to competing hotels around Hamburg. Would return for another stay.

Very Pleasant stay
I've stayed in. the hotel Commodore previously and again it was a really enjoyable experience - great location for the event that I was at, nice sized room with a desk. Only negative really was a couple of the tv channels that I wanted to watch didn't have reception but otherwise a really nice experience

Very good hotel albeit a little noisy
All good from my point of view. The location matters a lot and that was excellent. Some people might struggle with the traffic noise but it didn't affect me. WiFi was superb and 24 access is also a great bonus.

Great hotel in a great location
Very nice, clean and comfortable hotel. In a great location, easily accessible to everything in town. Less than 5 mins walk to St.Pauli station and close to a beautiful park.

Nice location, bad customer service
Location wise the hotel is ideal and not far away from town centre. However, carpet of the hotel room smelt old and dusty and one particular staff wasn't friendly at all and very dismissive. I paid for 3x breakfasts on the day I arrived and was told I can get it refunded should I choose not to eat. Unfortunately I was too busy on the days I stayed there and didn't eat breakfast for those 3 days. I asked for a refund on the day I checked out and was told I wasn't entitled to it. One lady behind the reception was totally rude and basically told me there was nothing she can do. Said that I should I thought about it before I made the purchase. I would not stay there again even If I was getting paid for it!

Great area/ staff
Great location in the neighborhood for Reeperbahn Conference/ festival for our industry meeting. Very helpful and accommodating staff, good breakfast ( though extra).

Close to everything
The rooms are small but clean. We had a room on the side of the main road and there is a lot of road noise. No tea or coffee in the rooms. It's close to everything you'd want to see in Hamburg but don't think it offered value for money. Couldn't park outside the hotel, had to park on a side street. Staff friendly and spoke good english. Beds are comfy, bathroom is very small but had a powerful shower. I wouldn't book again.

Good value and good service.
The staff was very professional - check-in and check-out was fast. Large clean, if somewhat sparsely decorated, room. The one annoying thing is that there are motion sensors by the entry way to the room and in the bathroom that turn on the lights, and there is no way to turn them off - you just have to wait. Annoying when that happens in the middle of the night. The hotel is also across from a big fair that takes place in August, so it is a bit noisy. The room had no A/C and it was very hot the days we were there, so the window had to be open (hot days are uncommon in Hamburg.

Stayed here as I was in town for a friend's wedding, spent hardly any time in the room, but reception / checkin was very friendly, room was clean and the hotel was central. Perfect for what I needed.

we did not go into the Hotel. There were hundreds of People using drugs and drunk sitting outside the Hotel. The area was so scarry we decided to cancel our Reservation.

Das Zimmer war okay, ordentlich und sauber. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Straße hin. Wenn man das nicht gewohnt ist, war der Verkehr schon ziemlich laut.

Ce fut un très bon séjour. L'hôtel est très bien placé. Il n'est pas très loin des coins de clubs à seulement 10 minutes à pied. Vraiment, il est à côté de tout dès lieux touristique comme des lieux de fête. De plus, le métro n'est vraiment pas très loin, seulement à 2 minutes à pied. La chambre est très bien, la salle de bain aussi, il y a des détecteurs de mouvement, il fait chaud. Il y a des radiateurs.

In der Nähe der Reeperbahn( 400 m )gelegen, alles gut zu erreichen U-Bahn 200m, Wallanlagen 200m. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Beim Frühstücksbuffet war die Aufschnittplatte nicht mehr ganz frisch und ungerührt auf dem Buffet!!

Die Lage des Hotels ist gut, allerdings hört man jeden LKW vorbeifahren (bei Zimmer zur Straße). Netter Service, aber es müsste im Hotel so einiges gemacht werden, u.a. gibt es keinen Sichtschutz am Fenster im Bad und auch die Dusche ist alt.
