I had a short stay at **9H Hotel Shinagawa** last Friday, and it was my first capsule hotel experience. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and convenience of the facilities. Everything was well-maintained, and the setup was seamless. The staff on site was attentive and friendly, making the stay even more comfortable. Overall, a great experience for a short stay, and I would definitely consider returning!

I’ve always loved the Nine Hours group of hotels and have stayed at almost all of their branches. It’s an old concept (at least in Japan) creatively re-designed and mindfully rejuvenated. Thumbs up for pushing the boundaries of capsule hotel offerings.

Everything was good. Except that for larger suitcases (including those that can fit in an overhead compartment in an airplane) could not fit in the lockers, and were stored on level one in an unmanned cupboard and open access to anyone.

Awesome first stay! Check in was smooth. Had everything I needed, including the cool public bath. The lounge area is the best, spacious with free flow drinks. Love the area facing outside where I can admire the Shinjuku day & night life.
Cabin is big enough & very comfy. Has a small fan. I slept & rested well. Got the top bunk and it was easy to go up & down with the sturdy handle & big steps.
Will definitely stay here again! And it’s so near to the train station!

Rather unfortunate that women-access to the public bath is from 3pm-5.30pm only. Bed was a little hard, but it seems common in Japan. Good location, a quick walk away from Yokohama Station and a few other big malls.
