Very nice relaxing property. The caretakers were friendly and ensured that all guests have a wonderful stay. The rooms were a bit small though. Everything else was perfect

Maree and Len are very warm and welcoming hosts. They have done an excellent job in upkeeping Cheltenham house. It’s lovely and warm and I would definitely recommend Cheltenham house to anyone who wish to stay in Hanmer Springs.

Downgraded to a smaller room (cheaper rate) upon check-in due to power (lighting) issues on the room that we booked. The room was smaller, but was clean and well equipped. Staff was very friendly welcoming us, and even gave us a tour around the place as well as providing suggestions on the nearby attractions Wifi and TV channels are good. Parking space seems limited.

First time in nz. Have heated beds and the room are clean.

The stay was great and the place was clean. However the pillows were slightly flat so I didn't catch much sleep over it. Firmer pillows would have been great.

It was very near the town and we walked there in 15 min to get our groceries. Unit was well furnished and shared kitchen was clean and well maintained

hostel was cozy but with a tad too many rules. however cleanliness is kept to a maximum even the toilet is constantly mopped and dried. location was a 10mins walking distance away from main town and conical hill trek.

The comfortness and the super spacious of our room were wonderful. It really value for money and better then expected.

Accommodation was near to the main dining area and the Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools (which is the main attraction in the area). The host also provides complimentary spa towels for use if you are going to the hot pools. Parking is along a row of sheltered lots but if your car is wide, getting in and out of the car can be a challenge as the space between the supporting pillars is narrow.
