"Was woken up at 5:30am by building construction that no one mentioned would be happening or said would start at this time. There are no or conditioners in the rooms and the shower had hair from the previous stay still in it all over."

"I loved the location! Right across the street from a bar/restaurant and 7 Eleven. I loved the filtered water and free coffee in the lobby. The little nook with the window view in the room was great. Very nice staff and a smaller hotel. Restaurant was good too. All around great place to stay!"

"I can only review the staff at The River Hotel is AMAZING to say the least. From the moment I walked through the door I felt at home. I received a warm welcome and a fabulous room with all of the amenities. My room (suite) was spacious, clean and so comfortable. The hotel is centrally located so it makes getting around effortless. I'm looking forward to my next trip to Chicago and The River Hotel is my go to spot to stay."
