Fabulous hotel in Helsinki
Great location, friendly and attentive staff, staff, large comfortable room and bath. In-room nespresso machine and wonderful breakfast buffet. Will be back!

Comfortable as always
Due to my short stay we agreed that a daily cleaning was notv necessary. Enjoyed very much the heavy bath towel. Regret that the filling up on mineral waters did not work.

As always a pleasurable sensation
A familiar hotel to me since the 1980's having been recently renowated. Its central location is an advantage. A nice staff. Concerning the room everything good with the exception of the pillows. The new towels marvellous. However, you must have your own [long] shoehorn with you!

Refreshed gem in Helsinki
Nice place, was told that it was just freshly renovated - and it shows, awesome quite place to stay. Clean, comfy large bed and the bathroom is large, functional and spotless. Love it.

The breakfast was very good, with lots of choices and plenty of fresh fruit. It was excellent. However, the dining area was crammed and the area around the laid out food was very tight and uncomfortable. They really need to stagger the breakfast and limit the number of people in the room. It was uncomfortably overcrowded.

Super stay. Great staff. Lovely breakfast. Superb location. One very minor point was a staff member not being able to organise our room safe to be fixed. Just didn’t know what to do.

Receptionists are very helpful. They let me check in 10 am in a room with bathtub. Helped me to find the way to the museum. It is really close to Think Corner that I enjoyed a lot!

Service Lacking
We are a very easy going travel couple who doesn’t really expect much... But when we arrive in a hotel, we at least expect someone at the front desk. We waited a few minutes and when receptionist showed up, no apologies. Then we had to put our bags away in storage by ourselves, no offer of assistance whatsoever. In room, no instructions for how to contact reception via phone or other services. Very disappointing stay.

Hello Alexander, Thank you for your review. We are very sorry to hear that you were not pleased with the service of our staff and that you had to wait at the front desk. Unfortunately sometimes if we are alone in the shift, we have to exit the reception to do something else. However we always try to be as quick as we can with this. We also unfortunately cannot assist with taking luggage to our storage room, since the opening of the door happens from the reception and also if we are alone, there is no one else to push the button. On the room phone there should be written all of the ways to contact our reception and restaurants but we will definately check if those are missing from the room you were staying in. We hope you still ejoyed your stay here in Helsinki in other ways. Best regards,

Perfect location
Perfect location walking distance to the train station and right in the middle of the city center. The sauna was great. Breakfast had a lot of options, including vegan and gluten free.

The hotel was easy to find from the railway station and a great central location. The rooms were spacious and well equipped. Whilst the decor was a bit plain it was fine for a business trip. The staff were very helpful and efficient.

it is convenient and well located to train station, the main squares and waterfront. Lots of restaurants nearby. The sauna is very nice and the breakfast is great. I would stay here again.

Good experience
After we informed reception that the A/C & safe of our room were not able to be used, the staff was very helpful & personally assisted us in changing to another room, even though it was late & it looked like she was the only one on her shift. Overall good location, walkable to all the main sights in the city. The room was quiet & clean and there were many choices at the buffet breakfast.
