"I could not sleep the first night. It was so hot and there is no individual room temperature control. It’s really not ok, especially at the price you pay! Just because 69 is good for some, doesn’t mean it’s good for everyone! I was trying to get it lower to no avail. In addition the shower bath water was not going down. When you are showering the water is standing, which is disgusting. This needs fixing asap!"

"Continental breakfast left a lot to be desired. The pastries were stale. There was little variety, and to choose from elevators are too dark and need to be brightened up. I can hardly read the number buttons because it is so dark in the elevators. Also, it would help to get rid of the fake plants in the rooms"

"Stayed here last night. This is a huge, beautiful historic building. The room we stayed in was updated and bright and very comfortable, huge bathrooms. The butlers were very attentive and friendly bringing ice to our room and giving great directions. Breakfast was delicious, offered choice of sweet or savory breakfast sandwich with salad, or yogurt with fresh berries and granola. Breakfast room was not busy with beautiful surroundings. Lots of restaurants within 5 minute walk, and arena is about 30 min walk or 10+ minutes to take the free streetcar. Definitely would stay here again if in the area."

"Room was clean, but this is an older hotel that could use some remodeling. Aside from older decor, our shower curtain rod was loose and there wasn’t a drain in the tub. My son was locked out of the room and stranded on the balcony. He had his keycard, but it did not work. The biggest issue was the fight that broke out at 1 am on our hall among guests. It sounded like 10+ people in the hallway. Lots of shouting and vulgar language. There were security guards downstairs, but they did not seem to be doing anything about the fight on the second floor. One person called the front desk and was told the police had been called. No one apologized for the disturbance. I would not stay here again."

"Hotel smells like cigarette smoke. The front desk staff had no shoes on (walking around in their socks). It also appeared like someone had been in our room beforehand-there was hair in the shower and the tv was on and bed looked like someone had been on it. We stayed the one night (it was midnight and I needed to get the baby to bed). But we checked out early the next day"
