"Upon arrival we were greeted and offered to dine while we wait to check in. Check in was simple through an app and we were offered welcome cocktails. We did during our stay have some questions regarding the all inclusive menu as there were some restrictions we hadn't anticipated however the staff was very quick to respond and offer solutions so we could enjoy beverages we desired. Clean property, kind and attentive staff, beautiful architecture and design and right on the beach. Food and drinks...

"Location of this hotel is excellent for centre of Heraklion, bus station, ferry terminal, taxis etc. All the sights in the centre within easy walking distance. Hotel staff are very friendly, nothing is any hassle. Breakfast was good, nice selection of fruit, hot food, cakes etc. Room was very clean, it would be nice to have charging sockets on both sides of double bed to charge up devices overnight. Shower was great, hot water in seconds and powerful shower. "

"Hotel Sofia is a very nice, well appointed hotel near the airport. Some late afternoon aircraft noise, but no problem overnight. On a side street so quiet, but only 100yds to public transport to city. Also a range of shops and eateries in same area. Pool area good. Breakfast had a good selection. Would recommend. Staff very friendly and helpful."

"The hotel is right beside the Archeological Museum and within walking distance of many other attractions. Parking is available (EUR 14/night): you pause outside in the busy street, double-parking is normal, to unload luggage and the hotel staff will then take your keys and whisk the car away to somewhere else -- give 20 minutes notice whenever you want it back.
