Was an ideal location for a few days walking along Hadrian's Wall. Comfortable rooms and good dining options.

This was our 4th time now - just cant describe how good this is ,the view ,food & friendly staff are all amazing. Will be back in the autumn.

This was a return visit, after loving our stay in the summer and a place we’ll definitely keep coming back to. The staff are so friendly and helpful and accommodated us for vegan food; the beautiful, old building maximises the space to its full potential with modern amenities; and its own brewed beer and amazing on site star gazing facilities under the company ‘Go Stargazing’ built up by the wonderful Wil, is the icing on the cake! Lots of walking opportunities to historic Roman sites or buses/trains to quaint places like Hexham and Durham- if you fancy giving the car a rest, whilst you are there! There’s plenty of homage paid in art form to the sadly departed tree from Sycamore Gap, as her beauty lives on in photographs, art and poetry. We returned home refreshed and rejuvenated once more from our weekend at Twice Brewed.

Shares a car park with the Sill Center- just up the hill is the site of the Sycamore Gap on Hadrian's wall. The pub/ brewery has good ales and good food. Cooked English breakfast was great and everyone was very friendly. Nearby Hexham is a worthwhile visit too. Just wish the sky had been clear to witness the famous night sky.

Well worth the detour
We planned to stay in Hexham and spotted this place 12 miles away. It had good reviews so we looked more closely. For us, the deciding factor was the fact it had an ev charger; that meant we could charge overnight and make it all the way home! I’m so glad we made that decision! The place is lovely. The staff are smiling and friendly. The food is delicious. The scenery gorgeous. The room cosy and comfortable. We now plan to come back for a few days to explore further.

First and foremost, fabulous staff! From check in and through to breakfast, everyone was really friendly (especially the ladies at breakfast). Really nice stay booked at short notice but one to revisit whenever I’m next in the area.

Really good in every respect. Good food, friendly staff, really nice rooms. Tip - the best and most iconic parts of Hadrian's wall are just a short walk from the Twice Brewed Inn.

The TwiceBrewed was so friendly and the staff so helpful. A quaint, cottage style hotel with everything you might need to explore the beautiful area of Hadrian’s Wall. Beautiful decor, amazing food and a place we’ll definitely recommend and return to.

Excellent staff, location was perfect from Hadrian wall. The hotel was clean, lovely rooms, Comfortable beds with all the amenities. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. We highly recommend staying at the Twice brewed inn.

The Inn has been updated but has retained its unique character. It’s location was perfect for an overnight stay as we were in the area to visit Hadrian’s wall and Vindolanda. The room was nicely appointed and clean. I would certainly recommend to stay here.

more than "just a pub" - it is an island of warmth & friendliness on the stark Military road beside the spectacular Hadrians Wall section. The food & the room were exceptionally enjoyable and the staff bubbly and enthusiastic. There is also dark sky viewing.

This accommodation is perfectly placed for walkers of Hadrian's Wall. So great to arrive here to enjoy a comfortable stay after a long day of hiking!! Comfortable, updated and clean rooms plus the food was great and hosts were helpful and friendly.

Really good
Nice clean hotel, very friendly staff. Room was good if a little snug. Position is great for walking along Hadrians Wall, shame i was working. Overall really great and food was nice too.

Best place in town
Excellent facility. Large room, good bar and restaurant. Lively but not overly loud. Food was great, both breakfast and dinner. Were I visiting or walking Hadrian's Wall again, I would make it a point to stay here. Staff was uniformly pleasant and helpful. They were able to do a load of laundry for me, and had a "drying room" where my soaked shoes could dry out. Good people and place. Highly recommend.
