Hilton Waikoloa Village
10/10 Excellent
"Loved the lagoon and pool bar. The rest of the dining was more difficult with kids options. Room was clean and had an amazing view. Dolfinquest was really reallycfun."
Mauna Lani, Auberge Collection
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful property with helpful and attentive staff. The hotel grounds were well kept and we even found some great walking paths (in both directions) from the beach. The beach itself is a little rocky but but very beautiful to snorkel from and we saw such beautiful fish and many sea turtles! We also appreciated the well stocked market for coffee, snacks and gifty items. We did not use the spa, but it smelled wonderful on our way to the gym. The Goop store is an excellent touch and the hotel boutique had a great selection of mens and women's bathing suits, hats, sunglasses, totes, jewelry, dresses and purses. They had a small section for kids. The closest mall 'nearby', where the Tommy Bahama restaurant was, is not worth going to unless you need a grocery store. Most retail stores were for rent. There was another shopping area near Waikoloa (Kings and Queens market) with lot's of options and the famous Shave Ice! Note - we did not make restaurant reservations prior to arriving, and we paid the price. We either had zero availability at places we wanted to go, or got stuck with unfavorable time options. It all worked out fine, but we had three dinner meals at their beach bar (which does have a famous chef behind it) - the food was delicious! *Definitely make a Canoe House resy a month or few weeks out. Merriman's is another to get into."
Hilton Grand Vacations Club Kings’ Land Waikoloa
10/10 Excellent
"The resort was really nice with large condo units and plenty of amenities. A few critiques. We asked a couple of times for our condo to be cleaned and housekeeping never came. Not a huge issue, but a little annoying. We were also barbequeining/cooking one night and requested a baking pan. It took them over 2 hours to bring the pan, which we didn't need any longer since it took too long. Finally, we wished that the courthouse bar stayed open a bit later. We came there at 8:30pm to enjoy a drink, but it was already closed unfortunately."

Paniolo Greens At Waikoloa
10/10 Excellent
"Our unit was immaculate. Super clean, newly painted, all new appliances including fridge, range/oven, microwave, dishwasher, and washer/dryer in the unit. Large kitchen, full dining table and living room area with sofa and multiple chairs around a coffee table. Every room has a tv. There is a market next to the property so you can get your groceries and cook all of your meals. Recommend getting an upper floor with a golf course view."
Fairmont Orchid

"Helped us a lot during hurricane. Kept power"
Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, Autograph Collection
10/10 Excellent
"This is the best hotel that we have stayed at. The amenities, staff, rooms, the spa, the adult pool, the food, the beach…all 5 stars! Swam with manta rays and did the longest running luau that was well done. Have been coming here since the 80’s and it only keeps getting better. We love the Mauna Kea and the Big Island of Hawaii."
The Islands at Mauna Lani - CoralTree Residence Collection
