Great location and lovely room however the room was very dirty when I checked in , used tissue paper in the corner of room , hair all over the bed and floor , few stains on the sheets , receptionist doesn’t speak English so it was a little difficult to communicate.

Great value family run hotel

A great value family run hotel, in a part of Ho Chi Minh City that has all hustle and bustle of old Saigon. Our room was comfortable, with A/C, great bed, the en-suite bathroom was great, with complementary soaps and gels etc We had breakfast included in our price, with a choice of Fried eggs, toast and coffee or a local breakfast, noodles with meat and fresh veg in a soup, this was amazing! There is no lift in this place, so beware if you’ve over packed. We used the laundry service which was returned on the day it was put in. At 50k dong or £1.25 per kilo, there’s no need to pack washing! The location is not on the main road, it’s down a quiet alley, which does cut down the constant city noise, but it’s around the corner from a convenience store. We used grab taxis to get about, it worked out at £1.00 for a ride into the center of town. I will use this hotel again for a short stay, for longer stays you may want a place with a pool, but at 4 time the price!

The property is well kept with helpful experiences staff. I recommend for non-disabled travelers who want the smells, sounds, and kinetic energy of Ho Chi Minh City. Walkable, bus or Grab Taxi to all standard tourist sights. Street food, markets, and restaurants within a couple hundred meters. Good value for this type of accomodation. Up a small alley, easy after the first time. Not party central like Bui Vien area,

Our stay was amazing. The staff made us feel welcome, there were no communication issues (we used Google Translate) and the traditional Vietnamese breakfasts were delicious. I knew about the alley before we arrived, it didn't bother me, the stairs at the hotel were horrible. We did notice when we arrived home that we lost some weight so I guess the stairs were a blessing.
