Staff were very pleasant, courteous, and helpful. Breakfast buffet was excellent; something for everyone. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Centrally located to Metro, bus depot, and walkable to many sites. Also walking distance to Ward 4 with lots of good, cheap eateries where my local family lives. The rooms were clean and surprisingly spacious, with a large, comfortable bed and a bathroom experience that felt refreshingly novel. Our particular room was windowless, but thoughtfully arranged for comfort. Breakfast was well executed, offering a generous buffet with plenty of appealing options. The rooftop pool, while on the smaller side, provided a pleasant retreat, complemented by a bar that offered a refreshing vantage point over the city below.

The hotel itself is a little old and tired but it goes with the city! The bar on the roof was always out of wine but the other bar which is just one floor below always had wine but they never would take a bottle or two up which I didn’t understand. Hotel in a great location, didn’t matter which way you walked when you came out of the hotel all directions had something to offer.
