"Chelsea Pines was a fantastic find for us: our triple studio suite was remarkably spacious for Manhattan, well-designed, with pleasant public spaces (kitchen, sitting room, outdoor back patio) and 24/7 staff. We thought the price we paid for the unit was a bargain. We could hardly believe the size, comfort and quality of the (basement-level) triple studio suite, a 1200-square-foot room that easily housed three adults (could have held 4-5). Its full (and stocked) kitchen, tons of natural light and easy access to the back patio made it feel more like an AirBnB condo than like a hotel; we could have gone grocery shopping and stayed there for weeks. Ahead of our stay, staff answered our phone calls whenever we had a question about the facility. We liked that the Chelsea Pines had a secure entrance and 24/7 front-desk staff. Our only negative was that we had a difficult time controlling the hot water. Bathroom sinks and the shower would often go from cold to scalding hot; it took us awhile to get the right temperature. Otherwise, we loved everything else about our stay at Chelsea Pines Inn. An exceptional find in a terrific neighborhood! All three of our group would stay here again in an instant."
