Fantastic guesthouse
Lovely guesthouse, very warm, spacious room and comfortable for a night. Large lounge area and kitchen facilities to cook dinner and breakfast. Good location within walking distance of restaurants and the supermarket plus free parking on site.

Mostly positive
Interior: rooms are nicer than exterior would present... and much nicer than lobby. Small rooms but great beds and so nice to have blackout curtains for midsummer. Very comfortable beds! Excellent shower and bathroom... Breakfast was VERY good (those breakfast cake squares were just delicious!) Great coffee, and I love the yogurt in cartons that we found at several hotels during our stay. Really appreciated the self-serve towels in closet in hallway too Nice stay

Very easy to find and clean comfortable rooms for a bargain price. Breakfast is included. The local restaurants close quite early but there is a supermarket and off licence across the road and you can use the kitchen in the guesthouse.

Clean, small accommodations that are pretty standard for the Ring Road. My only complaint was that my bed was located on the second floor near a sloping ceiling, so it was somewhat of an annoyance every time I wanted to get in or our of bed. Otherwise, a satisfying overnight stop.

A fine place in Hofn with right expectations.
Clean, large room with balcony. Reception was not manned. Parking on one side of building away from reception was clear, but on the reception side was not. Breakfast was technically included, but was only cereal (didn't find the yogurt) . Ate at a little diner called Hafnarbúðin instead. Pleasant running path along bay is just across the park.

The location of this hotel is good. We wandered the hotel aimlessly looking for someone to help us. The hotel should make better signage and email its guests ahead of time to warn them. We arrived to a piece of paper and a key. There was no hotel staff throughout the entire stay. We called the owners and they let us use the washer and dryer for free. That was nice! Unfortunately one dryer kept shutting off (I assume it was broken). The room was the first room in the hotel. It was very loud! Every time someone entered the building the door slammed behind them. There was only ONE small window and the room was very hot. The windows literally opened to the entrance of the hotel so we were entirely on display. Not a good set up! The toilet was so high my feet would not touch the floor (and as a 5 foot 6 inch woman that is not normal). The top shower head was broken, the remote was broken and when we finally found a working remote the television had no channels. The shower drain also smelled horribly like rotten fish after it started raining. Not a good experience!

A clean place
It’s a nice, very clean place. The breakfast is light, but convenient—you could have it anytime. Other reviewers mentioned it being noisy. I’ve stayed there for a week. There were some noisy guests for two nights. But otherwise it was very quiet.

Great location!
This place is well located in the center of town. It’s only 1 block from the pools and 2 blocks from a variety of restaurants. I only had a little confusion trying to check in. Enter the facility, wander until you find the desk, then follow the instructions on the desk to call someone. They respond quickly. Plenty of breakfast options too.

Lovely hotel with free coffee, comfy bed, great location, clean rooms, cute decor, and free wifi. Great public spaces. Very quiet and peaceful and very close to a vinbuddin and grocery. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend.

Small room but
Our room is located on the second floor with 4 people stay. The room is small with slope roof that cannot sit on bed without hitting the head. Besides that, on-site paid breakfast is very good. There is common seating area on the second floor which provides relaxing space.

Generally nice stay, room tight.
We did a family room for 4 adults 2 of the sleeping places were next to the kneewall which made for very poor access and sleeping for at least 2 people. It made the room claustrophobic. The rest of the stay was fine, bed softness was fine and other amenities fine.

Stayed for 1 night for our roundtrip of Iceland's ring road. Very friendly hostess, clean and bright room with a nice bathroom, good central location. Do notice that the restaurants in the city are quickly fully booked for the night. We were lucky enough to get a table with 20 minutes wait, but multiple parties were turned away after us.

Great property. Enjoyed the use of the kitchen to make our own dinner one night. Enjoyed the town. Our room was very very humid which was odd. Made our clothes wet. Shower leaked everywhere in bathroom. But with or without shower use, the room remained humid.

A lovely place to rest on our trip along the Ring Road. While we arrived after the normal reception hours, our key was waiting for us on the counter with a personal note. The beds were comfy and the breakfast area was so handy!
