"The staff was super nice at check-in and every time we checked in that we were gong to resturant. Our dog even received a little present! The view was beautiful, and having grass right outside was awesome. The restaurant was delicious too. Overall, we had a great experience!"

"Kind of a unique layout and area. Probably the nicest view around. Didn't care for the short drive into it (kind of run down subdivision with too many speed bumps) and there is nothing walking distance. The staff that greeted us was excellent and the lobby/common area was well above the standard for comfort and usability. Breakfast...the usual. Rooms were a bit on the small side but quite cozy and functional and updated. I think the exterior could do with a little landscaping and upkeep. I was surprised the guests were all put into adjacent rooms when the motel was only about a third full (the doors close with a thud). Overall, great value and a good choice for a quick overnight in the area for solo or couples."

"Clean and cute room with fantastic view. Staff welcoming and accommodating. Grounds and outdoor space well kept. 2 minutes to Downtown Hood River. Would definitely stay there again."
Lightwell Hotel & Spa

"The rooms are small but very nice. We really enjoyed it. It was clean, modern and sophisticated. The bed was very comfortable. We really like the robes in the room as well. The spa area was nice, but very dark. We did enjoy that you could use parts of the spa area complimentary with your stay. The bar was really nice as well. The front desk was very friendly and helpful at check in. The gal at the spa desk wasn't so friendly."
