Hotel is very close to the train station and on a main shopping street with restaurants close by The bathroom garbage had not been emptied and the sink stopper was stuck this was quickly fixed by the hotel staff I had to leave early to catch a train but the elevator is not operational before 8am so required me to walk down 3 flights with luggage

This is a very pleasant small hotel in the center of Hoorn, on a pedestrian street with plenty of restaurants and stores. It's a half hour from central Amsterdam by train. I would stay here again.

The hotel had a great location in Hoorn! Our room was very nice and clean. The pillows were a bit hard, but everything else was great!!!

Catch up with family
Our trip was to see family. The hotel is in an excellent position close to rail links from airport and perfectly located to walk around town and to the harbour. The staff were very good and friendly. The only negative is that there isn’t any guest lounge where we could meet with our family and also to wait once we had checked out.

Hotel petit nord top marks.
I have been visiting for a couple of years on business and have found from the first stay the stuff are always extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant and bar food is absolutely delicious. Very tasty and I have never been disappointed. Meals have always been consistently amazingly good. The hotel rooms provide everything you need, comfortable warm and spacious and always very clean.

The hotel is directly across the street from the train station and located in the heart of the shopping 🛍 center and restaurants. Easy access to the surrounding historical buildings.

Nice hotel... Restaurant service a let down
I have stayed in this hotel a number of times and the room was good for a night stay despite the strong winds outside making it very noisy for a few hours but the hotel can't help that. The room was comfortable enough although the rooms are starting to look dated and could do with a little modernising. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. We did eat in the restaurant however the service was poor. It was very busy but it did feel like we were forgotten about and it took a long time to grab any ones attention. The additional fries we ordered were forgotten about and we had to ask for them to be removed from the bill. The steak was delicious it is just a shame that there were not enough staff working and taking care of everyone. I can imagine it's difficult working on check in and serving food when the restaurant is full. I would stay here again.

Nice, affordable place to stay
We had a nice stay at this hotel, check in and check out was simple. Hotels in Amsterdam were expensive, so we decided to stay on the outskirts a town over. It was a really short walk from the train station, and very easy to find. Simple, no frills room with comfortable beds. I certainly would stay here again.

I spent nine nights here on a business trip. This hotel is lovely and charming. It is situated perfectly in the beautiful and historic North Holland city of Hoorn, just moments away from the train station and a quick walk to the main city square and its numerous restaurants and bars. From the moment I walked into the hotel, I felt at home. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable. Dutch-themed murals in the bedrooms (mine had a giant windmill and cows) and the Heineken bottle opener in the bathroom are a welcoming and appreciated touch. The hotel contains two world-class restaurants--Madame Cheung Taste and Restaurant Soya. As if that isn't enough, the full bar in the lobby, which serves delicious bitterballen and sizzling steak on a hot rock, is fantastic. I also highly recommend the breakfast service. Olga at the front desk is particularly wonderful. She taught me to say "Goedemorgen" and I love her dog, Lemon. Thanks so much for all of your hospitality. I love your beautiful city and hope to visit again one day soon!

The location was very convenient and the reception was warm. There was a backyard for the bikes (narrow path for our tricycles though, but OK for our other 4 bikes). The rooms were clean. The main issue was no air conditioning. It was very hot in the rooms. The mattresses were too soft.

The Petit Nord: An Accommodation Gem!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Petit Nord hotel in Hoorn. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. The Petit Nord is located close to the train station making intercity travel easy. It is also located within easy walking distance of the main square, the harbor, and the streets are filled with historical buildings of all kinds. There’s also several interesting museums close by along with many shops, pubs and restaurants. Speaking of restaurants, the Petit Nord has a lovely on site restaurant that serves the most delicious Asian food. Breakfast is also available for a modest price. We would most definitely stay here again and highly recommend the Petit Nord to others.

Convenient location right in centre of Horn which is beautiful. Public parking adjacent. Just stayed 1 Saturday night while on way elsewhere. Room was cramped and bathroom was small and poky, but ok for 1 night. Friendly staff but was unable to get a meal in the in-house Chinese because we hadn't booked. Plenty of other restaurants around, however. Found Petit Nord expansive for what it is, but then Hoorn is a tourist trap even in November.

Continues to Deliver
I have previously stayed at this hotel however it is the first time I have returned in a year. The hotel I am please to say continues to deliver. The check in was fast and efficient and the staff as always were very friendly. They all speak English, which was very helpful to us as we do not speak any Dutch! The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable although they were a little soft for my liking and softer than I remember. There is a table and chairs as well as a desk so that you can do some work if you need to. The bathroom too was spacious and the shower was very good though I wish it had a mixer tap instead of having to try and guess how much of the hot water tap and how much of the cold water tap that you need. The shower is over the bath tub, The bathroom also had a his and hers sink which is a nice touch. The Wifi was poor this time and was very difficult to connect. A number of times it lost connection or would not connect at all. It was also slow at times and other times it was OK. It was not a problem before so may need looking at. The breakfast was good value for money with a good continental selection in a nicely done dining room. We also had dinner on the night we arrived and opted for the lobby area where there are dining tables and table service. There was a special offer on the hot stones steak and fish if you ate in this area instead of the main restaurant, which was very good value for money. The Creme Brulee was disappointing however.

Hotel Petit Nord
Spent 3 nights at Hotel Petit Nord and from beginning to end, everything was brilliant. The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The location of the hotel was perfect, only a couple of minutes walk from the train station and into the town centre. The room I was in was spacious and clean, with great facilities. The breakfast provided (for a surcharge) was good value and the adjoining Asian restaurant was excellent for an evening meal, although I only used it once.

Very nice hotel. Very accomodating staff especially when I thought breakfast ended at 1030 instead of 1000 when I came down but was still served. Unique elevator that took me bit to figure out (you have to open the door). Hope I have the opportunity to stay again.

The hotel Petit Nord is advertised as a 4 star hotel, 2 stars to 3 stars would be more accurate, while the staff were helpful and friendly the hotel facilities’ were sadly lacking. The room had no air conditioning, no fridge or mini bar, no tissues (usually left in hotel rooms), no tea or coffee making facilities, no individual complementary toiletries, the safe provided was at the bottom and the rear of the wardrobe and required the guest to kneel down to access it, something impossible for anyone with mobility issues (such as me and my partner) or any elderly guests. I had booked a superior double room but was given a twin bedded room with the beds shoved together, they came apart at any movement also I felt that the check in time of 14.00 was rather late given that the checkout time was 11.00. The hotel also stated in writing that they would impose a €75 charge on anyone losing their swipe card key, a charge I have never heard of before and thought was quite outrageous, a plastic swipe card is hardly an expensive item. The hotel fell far short of expectations and I would neither recommend it nor stay there again.

The hotel is very conveniently located near the train station. The room had a small refrigerator, which was useful. The bathroom had a bathtub, which was nice to soak in hot water after a long day of walking. The first floor is a restaurant and our room faced the street, so the noise could be heard from our room at night.

Een leuk hotel, vriendelijk personeel. Weer eens wat anders dan de gebruikelijke hotelketen(s). kamer: geen uitzicht, zeer goed bed, vloerbedekking. Badkamer: zeer klein. Ontbijt: geen scrambled eggs en bacon. Anders alles ok. Tip: eet bij het japansche restaurant, rechtvoor uit door de hotel lobby.

Es war alles gut un diesem kleinem hotel. Speciel. Lift ins Zimmer vom Restaurant aus :) super bequemes Bett und extra Kopfkissen. Grössere Familien Zimmer (3 betten wir waren aber nur 2) war 162€ ohne Frühstück. Zum Reguleren zimmer war Zuschlag nur ca 30€ und das hat sich für die extra viele m2 Wert. Gerne wieder
