"Occidental 414 was a great place with a high level of service and comfort. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Views of the street from the hotel room were stunning but not all rooms have the same view. Breakfast was spectacularly delicious and offered a great variety of foods. Something for everyone!! We stayed on the first floor and did notice the regular light rumble of the metro. But this did not disrupt sleep. Rooftop terrace and pool were a lovely place to relax and enjoy the view. The hotel is not cheap but the neighborhood was not crowded and the location was perfect in my opinion. Public transportation was easy to access!! Would have like a little more space in our room but the high ceilings were nice touch."

"I was super happy at how close this was to Sagrada Família Basílica. It made it a very easy walk for mom who was traveling with me and has mobility issues. There were plenty of grocery stores close by to get fresh fruit, drinks & snacks. Also had a washateria close by and I was able to wash our clothes since the best way to travel for me is with a carry on. Overall convenient and public transportation was accessible. I recommend this place for your Barcelona visit. "
