Stayed here for a long weekend to attend a convention. The hotel was within walking distance of the convention center and many restaurants, so that was a plus. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful during check in and the hotel itself was mostly clean and kept.
I will mention that being downtown Houston though, there was hardly a quiet moment during Friday and Saturday night. We were on the 15th floor, corner room and between the sirens at various times, loud vehicles echoing off the tall buildings, and loud pedestrians talking and laughing, I was woken up several times. That’s not really the hotel’s fault, but it was very frustrating nonetheless.
The restaurant food was pretty good, but the one drink I ordered was very weak and the valet parking seemed extremely expensive at $54 a night.
Nothing was bad enough that I wouldn’t recommend a stay here, but I’m sure there are plenty comparable properties nearby.
