"Great hotel in a great position. Staff are more than helpful. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice to cater for everybody. It’s the second time I see at this hotel and I love it if I had to say one thing as much as it is to have a harbour view room if you like fresh air in the night it is so noisy from all the bars and people walking around if you don’t mind your windows shut it’s not too bad however amazing hotel and I really recommend it."

"Vila Lacman is a family run small boutique hotel on the hillside west of the castle (Foritca), and just above the beach club. A short walk to the square (Trg) and the port (luka) of Hvar. we discovered you can take a long set of stairs straight up to the road the hotel is on (a difficult hike with luggage ) or walk along the harbor front go right past the cafe up a short set of stairs to a walkway that goes behind an old church tower. An easy route that is very panoramic too. The room was small, but very reasonable, a lovely balcony with a partial view of the bay. Downstairs was a cabana type kitchen we used to make a lovely dinner from food purchased at the local market. We dined on the patio in front of the kitchen under vines and lime trees that were very peaceful. The grocery store, a few hundred feet up the street, includes a second-floor restaurant with excellent foud and sunset views."

"Lovely spot to stay in Hvar. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Private pool was amazing! Breakfast delivery to the room was the highlight of our stay, it was fantastic every day. Hosts were easy to communicate with and so helpful with suggestions of nearby things to do."

"Was a beautifully designed apartment in heart of the downtown in a beautiful alley with restaurants etc. so romantic and beautiful!!! We enjoyed having breakfast each morning in the garden courtyard steps away from our door which was so amazing, the good, service, and atmosphere. After dinner we and a night cap across the way with Sasha at his beautiful bar. It is so convenient when arriving by ferry to walk to. Everyone very nice!! Had a very nice casual dinner at Pastino at reccomend by owner and an anniversary dinner at Paradise garden terrace both of which easily walkable. We enjoyed walking up to fortress and exploring the town going to the beach and one day took private boat tour to red cliff and swam in caves and he took us to all the local islands. Overall the stay was spectacular in Hvar, people amazing, and would highly reccomend staying at Forika!! The small balcony was a refuge after our daily activities to sip wine and have local bread and cheese from market downstairs!!! Thank you Forika!! ❤️"
