"I think it's important to know this is someone's house with a few hotel rooms upstairs. There are some less-than-ideal aspects. The place is very echoey, so if the owners are entertaining downstairs you will hear it in your room. The lighting is very harsh, bright white, which is a big no for me personally. "Beautiful property in a prime and safe location close to many dining options. I didn't want to leave my beautiful suite. Savon has excellent service overall. Their spa is an experience worth staying at this property for. Amazing hospitality by all the staff we encountered, from the GM to the butler. They even left us treats for our Anniversary celebrations with delicious chocolate-covered strawberries.
We just missed their 25th anniversary celebrations the next day, but the preparations looked grand.
