The place is clean, room is big and bed is very comfortable, but it has water leak in the bathroom, service is good, all the staff are very accommodating with our request.

Check in was smooth and quick. The room was spacious, mirror had some finger smudges on it. But was quickly cleaned up. The AC functioned was A . Shower was A Internet was a B- The Internet cut in and out. Breakfast was great, enjoyed the selection. They also have a Japanese restaurant down at the lobby level. The food was fresh and amazing. All in all I’ll be returning. It was a great experience. Thank you.

The property is clean, staffs are nice, breakfast is also nice. Front desk staffs are a little rude and dont seem to know what they are doing.

We booked this hotel for it's convenience, centrally located for Dinagyang Festival. It's an older hotel that's seen better days. Nicks and tears are showing in bedroom furniture. The safe in bedroom is dead. And there are cockroaches in room, found 4 during our 3 night stay !!

Our first night, my wife found roaches crawling on the wall. The bathroom was filthy and dirty. There’s nothing to wipe the wet/dirty floor. We used our wet towels to clean the floor and when we asked to be replaced, they just ignored our request even though the cleaning lady was just in front of our door.

Location was perfect. Hotel is a bit old but rooms are clean and comfortable. Infinity pool has a nice ambiance/view. Food was delicious and staff were friendly. Towels were just a bit worn out, though. Overall hotel is very good and highly recommended.

On the face of it, it's a nice 4 star hotel, but unfortunately it has a major cockroach issue, we killed 3 or 4 in our room and also saw several running around the breakfast buffet.

Cons: overall, the place looked clean but the 1st room (penthouse) had roaches so they moved me into another room 1 level down. In this room, there were tiny little ants on the bed. Also, everything closes at 10 so if you're hungry after that, you need to wait til morning. Safe was not mounted so if I put something valuable in there, someone can just walk off with it. Lastly, I could tell that the room design was not done by a woman because there was no magnified mirror and very little lighting in the bathroom where the wall mounted mirror is... Pros: gym facility was great; massage service was spectacular; breakfast buffet was good;

Pay a bit more and stay at the Marriott
Hotel is old and worn. Sleep was only possible when the noise from the KTV lounge ceased, which was after 1 am. Breakfast was ok, but limited in choice. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Great hotel for family and friends! It is walking distance to the capitol, Shopwise, Iloilo Supermart and to SM mall. There is a bank and drugstore nearby as well. We spent Dinagyan weekend and nearby roads were closed but it was quite close to the activities! We were able to watch one of the judging areas from our hotel window (we stayed in the West Wing). The facilities are also excellent, great pool and gym! The food is very good and kid friendly. The restaurants around the hotel are also excellent! Lastly, the staff are all so kind and friendly, one the best staff service so far. Highly recommend this hotel! :)

The hotel is good but possibly due to being busy woth dinygang the staff were busy. Our room wasn't cleaned and they said we had declined cleaning which we hadn't so we dropped our towels to housekeeping at 9pm, then at checkout they asked us where the hand towels were., they were also asking another customer where her coaster from under her glass was. The pool you only get 2 adults 2 kids per room. We have 3 kids oldest 4 years so we had to pay for our 1 year old to swim. You need to sign in and get a wrist band to swim. Then u can't leave the pool area with the towels. Great location for the city.

Like: The hotel is in the center of everything, this part is good. Don't like: They charged us a fortune for their cheap bedrunner upon checked out. We don't take it. Lots of good stuff in the U S. why take this ugly one.

This is a high quality very efficiently run hotel, the staff were very friendly, accommodating and professional. The rooms are clean very nice and well maintained, especially the east wing which has some great views of the Iloilo river over which we were treated to some amazing sunrises when we were lucky enough to be awake to enjoy them. There are several options for food while staying at the Grand Xing including room service all of which are very high quality also staffed by some great employees serving delicious food. We travel to Iloilo every other year from the USA. Our next visit will be sometime in 2021. Will we stay at the Gran Xing next time? Maybe, but probably not as we want to try some of the competition next time so we can compare. Will we stay @ the Grand Xing again in the future? Yes most definitely! Do I recommend the Grand Xing to friends and family yes definitely! It is a really great hotel!
