"We arrived just before the hot weather so we had a few days of cloudy weather and one day of heavy rain... and we enjoyed every moment. This isn't such a well known place but it was lovely for us as it let us disconnect a bit and just relax. Walks up the beach to Kawazu, lovely meals and just lots of quiet time.. just what we needed. The staff were all lovely and very helpful, the room was larger than we expected with very comfortable beds, a great bathroom and a balcony that overlooked the ocean. Everything was clean and in perfect condition. Highly recommended."

"The room was fantastic. We loved it. The beds were so comfortable and the view was so beautiful. We used the onsen and it was magical because we had a full moon. The bath products they have for the guests and the onsen user are the best smelling shampoo, conditioner and body wash i have ever used in my 51 years. I don’t know if they sell it in town but if you are around look for them there because I think it’s unique to the area. The front desk was so friendly, even though we didn’t know Japanese. I recommend waking up early for the sunrise. We hope to return soon."

"The hotel has beautiful scenery and a very relaxing atmosphere. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with a great variety of delicious food. The staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful. There was a small issue with my reservation, but the team patiently assisted me and resolved everything smoothly. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. While the facilities are a little dated, they are very well maintained. The hot spring was fantastic and incredibly relaxing after a long day. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again in the future."

"The hotel has excellent facilities, in particular with private outdoor hot spring water bath, which is very enjoyable. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is excellent, but little too expensive. The hotel also has shuttle bus to the train station. Some facilties need proper maintainence, such as basin. Cleaness could be improved. Overall, this is a good hotel."

"This resort was one of the best parts of our trip to Japan. Coming from the USA, we wanted to enjoy a traditional accommodation. This resort had everything we were looking for: Japanese style room, bedrock sauna, private onsen bath, gendered public onsen bath and an onsen pool. It is a small resort with only 8 rooms, which makes for a very personalized experience. When we arrived the staff was incredibly friendly. We didn’t book any meals with our reservation but was easily able to add it on at check-in due to them having extra space. The property itself is nestled near the mountains and a train track, which provided a serene environment. The train was not loud at all and was short. We booked this property because of its proximity to the Kawazu Seven falls and the Amagiso Onsen. Overall, we are incredibly happy and will definitely be back. "
