"La famille m'a reçu dans leur modeste hébergement a Panauti. Ne vous attendez pas à un grand hôtel luxurieux ce n'est pas la peine.
En revanche, la générosité dont ils ont fait preuve a été remarquable. Je me suis sentie comme à la maison et j'ai pu en apprendre beaucoup sur la culture népalaise. J'ai vécu une expérience humaine incroyable et dégusté d'excellents plats très copieux !"

"If you like to have your own quiet time this is the place. The Hotel owner and the manager (suraj) was very nice and very cooperative. Though the property does not have any Room heater we managed the cold night with 2 blankets!

"Wonderful hotel in Kathmandu and worthy of the Marriott branding. The room was well appointed and good selection for breakfast.
Special thanks to Anu at front reception who arranged a taxi to the airport for me and walked with me to ensure I got into the correct vehicle and costs confirmed. Nice touch! "
"The Dwarika is an oasis. The spa and gym facilities are out of this world. It is a living cultural museum with wood carvings and art and traditional but fancy local cuisine.
It was exactly what I needed after the Everest Marathon, a place to detox and recover. Even the air is better and sweeter in the hotel. It isn’t near Thamel but that is why it is peaceful. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. It isn’t the luxury, it is the support of Nepali and Newari traditions that put it over the top.
PS The basil lemonade is addictive
