"This is a delightful boutique hotel. The front desk staff couldn’t be more welcoming, helpful, and seemed truly happy to have us as a customer. The room was a decent size for 2 adults with 3 bags. The windows opened fully to allow fresh Swiss air to circulate. We love the metal blackout blinds that also help with noise reduction. The king size bed was quite comfortable, plenty of pillows, and the typical fluffy duvets. There’s nice little touches that few hotels we’ve used in 6 weeks traveling in Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, and Italy. In the lobby, there’s fruit, cold water, and flavored candies. The room’s small refrigerator is stocked with complimentary bottled water, Coke and Coke Zero, and fruit juices. The hotel provides passes for free ground transportation during our stay. And the air conditioning worked very good, a necessity in a June heat wave. Bathroom had nice toiletries one of the best showers we’ve experienced during our 6 week trip. The hotel is less than a 10 minute flat walk to the Lucerne train station and main bus center. In addition to the onsite restaurant, there are so many food choices within just a few minutes walk. Old town (Aldstat) and historical sites are a little farther walk, about 15-20 minutes. Though there are dozens of hotel choices, we’d prefer Cascada Boutique Hotel over all others."

"Our stay here was virtually perfect. The hotel has all the right amenities and then some. There is something incredibly comfortable in the room which makes it one of the best stays we've ever had in Europe as a whole. Pros: - historic but very well renovated - great AC - perfect location - lake views are incredible - staff is great - daily chocolate treats were a unique surprise - incredible bathroom (private toilet, double sink, great water flow, waterfall shower, great quality shampoo/conditioner/soap) - international outlet adapter, USB c outlets by the bed - perfect blackout shades - perfectly quiet rooms, especially with the windows closed - awesome historical artifacts in the room Cons: - it was a shame that our reservation didn't include breakfast. Maybe it was related to Expedia itself though since it seems strange that such an expensive hotel wouldn't have that by default. "

"This was an absolutely amazing experience, a balcony with a view of Lake Lucerne. The staff was very accommodating and Marcel went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, even helping to correct a train/rail station error I was about to make prior to arrival. The breakfast was included in the price of the room and far exceeded any other previous lodging offerings I have ever had in Europe. Spa facilities, luggage storage and many other included perks help to make this the only choice in Brunnen with a short trip to Stoos in reach. Stay here, make memories and you will look forward to staying here again as soon as possible. "

"This was a rather affordable place to stay, which is ideally located to the city center and had all the amenities necessary for a family, including parking secured behind a gate for a reasonable price. I would stay here again with my family. "
