"My recent stay at Meliá Vienna was extremely disappointing and far below what I expect from a five-star hotel. From the start, there was a complete lack of flexibility and customer care. Despite informing the hotel at check-in that I had to shorten my stay due to a family emergency, my request not to be charged for the last night (out of 5 nights) was refused without consideration. The room itself had multiple issues: stained carpet, defective window shade, constant noise preventing sleep, and missing basic amenities (no coffee, tea, cups, or even consistent water service). Housekeeping was unreliable, and I often had to request cleaning multiple times. The most concerning incident happened on my last full day: after requesting room cleaning before leaving, I returned late in the evening to find the room untouched, with a note falsely claiming I had placed a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door—when no such sign had even been available in my room. This was both unacceptable and deeply concerning. At one point, I was even asked to manage my own trash and offered bedsheets to make my own bed. Food service was equally disappointing: restaurant closures several days, long delays, dietary instructions ignored, and clear understaffing. Overall, the service, responsiveness, and attention to guests were far below expectations. I also left with a very uncomfortable feeling about how I was treated (as a Black woman of African origin), which is deeply concerning. "

"Located just outside the city centre, not to far from the International Centre and Donapark (for parkrun). Next to a McDonald’s and around 10 mins away walk to the red metro and Westfield shopping centre. The receptionist was nice, the room was basic but very clean. The breakfast was good and varied. Excellent value for money. "

"Bit surprised that they do not clean the rooms on multiple day stay. But this is about it in terms of not-so-positives. Staff is great and friendly. Breakfast was very rich in good choices. Spa/Sauna super hot when on. will come back for sure."

"The Hotel Schani Wien is absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere of the hotel is wonderful, and the friendliness and camaraderie of the staff truly make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Everyone was kind, professional, and very attentive. The food was spectacular, and the pizzas were especially delicious. The rooms are lovely, very comfortable, and the decoration throughout the hotel is simply stunning. What surprised me the most is that the hotel doesn’t look nearly as impressive in photos as it does in person. When you actually see it and experience it, it is truly spectacular. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vienna. It was a wonderful experience. ⭐️"

"The aircon was broken. Would always run 17 degrees, even when I switched it off it was still running cold air and our room was super freezing, I got sick the following day "

"Obrigada pela experiência! Nosso quarto era perfeito e o hotel era lindo. O cafe da manhã estava delicioso com muitas opções de comidas e bebidas (pão de queijo, coxinhas, goiabada, doce de leite.... eles têm de tudo!) Uma recomendação é .... experimente uma caipirinha! Muito saboroso e bem Brasileira! "
