"This lodge is far more than a hotel. It is an experience. They take excellent care of you. The food is amazing and the details in preperation is top quality. "Ataraxia is a peaceful and beautiful place hidden between jungle and sea. Saw plenty of wild life both on land and at sea. The food was delicious and the owners and staff always teady to go the extra mile to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. Would come back a hundred times if i could. For.the price difference treat yourself to an ocean view cabin, they are fantastic."

"I had a wonderful fun 3 days here .Dan and Brian are great hosts , with Dan being an exceptional chef . I highly recommend having there evening meal even though it’s served a little late for me it was worth it .The lodge is very clean and my room was huge with an upstairs bedroom and bathroom ,stairs are steep ! As the lodge is all wood the down stairs was dark with a small balcony so not really used! Yoga mats provided for self practice. I loved the location with a little walk up to the lodge...
