Close to everything in town. Walkable to ferry

Friendly hosts. Gave us option to upgrade our continental breakfast which was reasonable. :) Also was able to use a guest kitchen which helped with the budget since Holbox is not terribly cheap.

Hotel sin servicios básicos

Las personas muy amables, sin embargo el día que llegamos no había agua en la regadera, después salía pura agua caliente y al final nos terminamos bañando con un chorrito de agua porque era lo que salía de agua fría, nos dieron una cubeta con agua para poder bañarnos ; el colchón muy incómodo, despertabanos con dolor de espalda.

This is not a hotel.

I reserve this hotel because I though it was a hotel however is a house and the owners rent the bedrooms. I felt very unconfortable because it was noisy. Small bedrooms and uncorfortable bed.

Äusserst liebenswerte Besitzer. Helfen einem sehr gerne und sind immer freundlich und zuvorkommend ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Ein riesiges Dankeschön an Roberto und seine Frau für den tollen Aufenthalt. Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet, Duschstrahl(vorallem bei Warmwasser) leider sehr schwach, aber an einem sonnigen Tag ist das Kaltwasser zum Glück nicht so kalt :)

Un buen lugar

Roberto e Isabel, dueños del lugar son muy amables y se esfuerzan por que tu estancia sea la mejor. Te dan varias recomendaciones para comer y disfrutar de la isla. Puedes caminar a la playa desde la Hacienda o a cualquiera de los dos muelles, está muy bien ubicado. Tal vez el paso hacia las habitaciones sería el unico "pero". En general, un buen lugar para quedarse.

Wir waren 3 Tage auf Holbox, und hatten das Quartier über das Internet gebucht. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit, und unsere Vermieter waren sehr hilfsbereit. Alles war zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Wir kommen wieder!!

we loved our visit to the magical Isla Holbox, and our stay at Hacienda La Catrina. Our hosts, Alejandrina & Roberto, were extremely hospitable and informative. Our room was comfortable & quiet. The price was fantastic too. We can't recommend La Catrina highly enough.

En realidad no es un hotel. Se trata más bien de una posada o Hacienda. No obstante la habitación es cómoda. Tiene aire acondicionado. Baño Limpi. Cama cómoda. Servicios de Internet incluido y personal a disposición para servir a los huéspedes las 24 horas del día.

sehr gemütliche Pension in Strandnähe

wir hatten eine tolle Zeit iin diesem geschmackvollem Ambiente. Moskitofreir Aussenbereich mit wirklich sehr nettem Inhaber namens Fernado. Er spricht fliessend Englisch, hat ein großes Herz udd ist sehr hilfsbereit. Seine interessante Frau organisiert außergewoehnliche Expetitionen in den Dschungel Es besteht die Moeglich keit auch selber zu kochen. Man fühlt sich wie zur Hause .und wird wirklich sehr freundlich aufgenommen

Hotel cómodo y amplio

El hotel en general es bueno. Cómodo, muy limpio, muy pero muy amplias las habitaciones. Además de lo indispensable como camas y baño cuenta con un recibidor en el que está incluida una cocina con aparatos electrodomésticos. Todo lo necesario para hacer tu propia comida si no quieres gastar por fuera. Lo único que no me agradó es el vecindario pues una noche en la casa del frente hubo una riña familiar en la que participaron todos sus miembros, tan fea que los niños con los que me hospedé quedaron alterados. Por lo demás el hotel es muy bueno.

Peace and quiet on Holbox

Very nice apartments (it's is worth noting that there are two different locations run by the same people. One a B&B and one are self contained apartments. They are 6 blocks away from each other so it's worth knowing which you are staying in in advance.) Roberto and his wife were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and if I was going to give any constructive feedback it would only be that my shower was a little on the cold side with not great pressure. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay. Thanks!

Wonderful Stay!

I just finished a lovely week-long stay at Estudios La Catrina, and I so enjoyed my time there! The apartment was bright, spacious, and so comfortable. Everything in the place feels new; there were beautiful paintings on the walls, a nice breeze and a great little kitchen. It was immaculate, and Roberto kept it that way, coming by each day to clean and check on things. I loved the location, just a few blocks from the beach and a few blocks to town. I am a female and I traveled alone - I felt very safe, the location was close enough to everything, but also independent and peaceful. Roberto and Alejandrina are wonderful hosts and such kind people; the day I arrived, Roberto let me into my room and then took me on a little tour of town on his golf cart, which was wonderful to get oriented. Overall, it was an excellent stay, and I can highly recommend it. I hope to be back sometime soon!
