I dont usually write reviews but this hotel is absolutely the best. The people who work there are the kindest and sweetest I’ve met. They were super nice and accommodating and made our trip definitely more special. It felt like home and the rooms are spacious. Its also located in a very nice trendy yet quite neighborhood and few minutes away from the metro. Highly recommend, I wouldn’t think of any other hotel :)

Dosh is very well spoken manager and addresses very politely, rooms surprisingly are very quiet comapred to the area where its situated at, though am sure on weekends its would be buizzing, however sound proofing is not bad. Short walk tonistiklal but mind it, its an uphill walk for couple of minutes. Suites are amazing, nice color choices, very clean and pleasant. Toilets could have been better but the small kitchen and dining area overcomes that shortfall. Definitely a good choice

Our Most Expensive and Poorest Stay The pictures and location deceived us. This was our most expensive stay of the entire trip and, by far, the worst. The so-called penthouse was inaccessible by elevator directly, had a boiling hot room during the day due to faulty AC, and a completely dysfunctional bathroom: no rain shower, only a handheld shower that couldn't be mounted, a broken bidet, and shredded towels. Basic amenities, such as hair conditioner and tissue paper, were missing. Don't recommend!

Location around Galata Tower is convenient with eateries, cafes, Istiklal St and public transport. However we found mould inside 3 fridge shelving. We notified staff and housekeeping cleaned it. Next day the main light in the bathroom stopped working. We stilled used the bathroom using the secondary mirror light. We mentioned this to staff , but it never got fixed.

Hotel situato in ottima posizione, vicino alla metro ed a tanti negozi e ristoranti. Le camere sono sopra un pub irlandese con musica fino a tarda ora, udibile nelle camere, per noi non è stato un problema ma per altri potrebbe esserlo.Colazione turca, ottima, tutte le mattine, servita nel pub. Camere da sistemare, ci vorrebbe un po' di manutenzione e cura dei particolari.

Lift and stair issues

The biggest suite is on top of the last level the elevator/lift can reach. Meaning that you will have to walk on stairs. If you don’t want to climb any stairs, make sure you ask the staff before you book.

We don't like the noise at night from the bars around the hotel. Nevertheless, the accommodation was very centrally located, which meant we were able to start good tours into the city and to Beyoglu.

Great location, lots of coffee shops and pubs nearby, about a 5 minute walk to start of Istiklal. Ibo, our night time concierge and his counterpart in the morning are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are big and clean. Looks a bit more dated than the website pictures but everything is functional. No cold A/C because it is wintertime but we are able to open the windows. Set breakfast is available every morning and can be eaten at the dining hall downstairs or delivered to your room. We would come back and stay in this hotel if we go back to Istanbul!

Place was pretty meh. Rooms were huge and staff was very nice, but it didn’t feel like a hotel at all. The front desk was literally just a desk at the back of a pub. Furniture was very shabby and not in the best condition; hotel had no amenities. Overall the place is fine but for the price there was a lot to be desired.

Great spacious rooms

This place was our last destination and I wish we booked it from the beginning, other than its great location the rooms are very spacious, very very spacious! Our rooms were the 4th floor and the view there was amazing. Would definitely book Ansen again if I ever come back.

Great short-stay at the property for 2 adults & 1 infant. They took great care of us by answering a lot of our queries. Our baby stroller was delayed by Turkish Airlines, they spoke with the airlines in Turkish to assist us. Huge Rooms, near isteklal (6 min walk), Galata Tower (15 mins) & metro stop.

Staff was friendly. Very conveniently located - close to dining, shopping, transport, etc. Hotel is basic - finishings are poor in elevator and rooms. It is not luxury or close to luxury at all. Woke up with bug bites on my legs the first night and they moved me to another room the second night.

Good location and helpful staff, but a bit tired

Good location, being a few minutes from the historic Pera Palace Hotel (which is well worth having a drink in). Large pleasant room. Friendly staff, who fixed a problem with the air conditioning. Needed a bit of renovation, particularly one window that was taped up. The bed wasn’t especially comfortable.
